Singer/songwriter Bill Stacy has been playing and singing since he was 8 years old. Originally from Kerrville Texas, Bill now lives and plays in the Bryan College Station area. Bill has a unique fingerpicking style (translation he never learned to do it right) and his set lists include his own original music plus great folk, folk rock, and country songs from today and years past. From Simon and Garfunkle to James Taylor, Michael Johnson to Willie Nelson, Walt Wilkins to Radney Foster, Bill can entertain and provide a great atmosphere for your venue or concert. Bill is a true balladeer, singing and playing from the heart songs you remember and some you've never heard, but won't soon forget. Bill is a former director of the Texas Folk Music Foundation (now the Kerrville Folk Festival Foundation) and served on the operating committee for many years. He's opened for Radney Foster, played main stage at Kerrville Wine and Music Festival and been a regular at the New Baden Jamboree, Edge General Store, and Chriesman Community Center.
Great fun at Kerrville Wine and Music Festival
I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself and my generation. I love the places that most people don't give a second glance.
